Dear colleagues,

let me give you a brief report on collective bargaining, which ended on 15 December 2021.

I think we have managed to conclude many interesting agreements:

  • Extra day of leave after 10 years of work, and another day of leave after 18 years (initiative of OÚP)
  • One-off bonus (initiative of OÚP)
  • Break between shifts from the 5 minutes, generating two more shifts to the current 2 minutes, with the promise of 0 minutes before the SSD, and no more shifts will be generated (initiative of OÚP)
  • Overtime before / after shift, where there will be a record of attendance by minute for positions from TM, and each worked minute beyond working hours will be accepted as overtime, already for each position (initiative of OÚP)
  • Loss of health ability, after working in the company for 15 years in case of loss of health ability, the employee will be paid CZK 100 for each month worked (initiative of OÚP)
  • The KDP, there has long been disagreement in this point. There are more things that we want to change. We understand that KPD is a company’s tool to increase efficiency and flexibility, and if it were not KPD, the legal form of production would come, ie, uneven workload, when everything is governed by law. KPD is after the approval of the unions and therefore we have the opportunity to change its parameters, for this reason, the agreement of the OÚP with the company was created, which will start immediately from January after the termination of this KS (initiative of OÚP)
  • A one-year contract, we could not accept a two-year contract, we think it is irresponsible. There can be a lot of changes in a year, we all see what is happening around us, no one knows how much inflation will jump in a month, everything is incredibly expensive, and personal inflation is much higher than the CNB and TMMCZ tell us. (initiative of OÚP)
  • An increase in wages to the tariff, the so-called wage base, is a crucial matter for all employees, and we do not agree with this increase. Just for comparison – in 2021 the increase in wage based was of CZK 1600 for TM and CZK 1800 for TL, at that time there was half inflation, the car was produced at half sales price and production was much simpler – these facts lead us to opinion that the current wage increase does not correspond to the complexity of production, the product produced in 2022 and rising inflation. We all know that the same car model is produced by TMMF and employees are paid incomparably better, bonuses not to mention.
